October Newsletter

October was a very exciting month under the Jefferson St. Bridge. We had a lot of visitors stop by to help. We even had a wedding. The Lord is doing a mighty work here in Nashville.

We were blessed by a group from Revival Temple in Walker Louisiana. They brought a cooking group to help with the ministry. They prepared all of the food for 300 homeless on Tuesday Night. The homeless were eating some good old Louisiana cooking that night. They also prepared all the food for 200 more people the following Thursday

We also had a youth group stop by from Alive in the Spirit Church in Jamestown, TN. They worked very hard in setting up chairs and tables. The homeless really enjoyed the very powerful dance and drama skit they performed while they were with us under the bridge.

We ended the month on a very high note. One of our homeless couples got married under the bridge. It was a first for us. Thanks to the people in the community it was a beautiful wedding. When people heard about it, they wanted to be a part, and in a week we had everything needed. A special thanks to Ruth's Flowers who provided the flowers and Sweet and Sassy who made the cakes. The happy couple has moved to Florida where he has been blessed with a very good job. We pray the best for them.

It is an indescribable blessing to see the changes in the lives of those who seek the amazing love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
