September Health Department Update
As many of you know, Tuesday night the Department of Health met our trucks at the Jefferson Street Bridge for an inspection. After meeting with representatives from the Department of Health, we were informed that this inspection was not a result of any State department. It was due to an anonymous phone complaint. By law, they were required to investigate. This is simply a minor obstacle that we will overcome. In 2 Chron. 20, we are reminded that the battles we face are not ours, they are God's. We are working with the Department of Health and other State departments to insure the prompt and appropriate procedures are followed. Together we will determine the best solution for feeding and ministering to the homeless of Nashville.
What is Needed?
We do know that we will need a mobile kitchen in order to serve food in the future. Chef Nick has offered to let us use his for the time being.
