Letter from Dr. Brenda Valentine, Principal

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Christmas,

What an appropriate last name for two of the most generous and loving people with hearts of gold! I must take the time to extend a heartfelt thank you for the blessing that is afforded through the Bridge Ministry to the students at our school. We are certainly fortunate to have become acquainted with this organization. With so many of our students unable to afford food and snack items that others seem to take for granted, your ministry of providing these items to our students has truly been a blessing. When the program first started, I remember a child who was just totally amazed by the fact that he would get to take a snack pack home with him for the weekend. His comment to me was that he couldn't wait until the next weekend. I was thrilled that he was so happy and at the same time, his comment broke my heart. I want you to know that people like the two of you are rare. It seems that you never tie of helping others. I realize that there must be times when you may feel that your efforts go unappreciated, but I want you to know that we at our school, are truly grateful for the wonderful work that you and your organization do for the community and surrounding areas.

Our Guidance Counselor has spoken so highly of the two of you. Her admiration for you is so highly deserved. May you be richly blessed as you continue to do this wonderful work in providing "Manna from Heaven" for those in need!

Sincerely,
Dr. Brenda Valentine
