April Newsletter
April has been a great time under the bridge. With the local shelters closing for the warmer months our crowds are starting to grow again. We served close to three hundred last night. We are seeing such a change in the lives of those we touch on a weekly bases. When they first start coming they have so many walls they won't let anyone get close to them. After just a few services of hearing about the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ you can see those walls start to crumble.
The Lord is working in so many ways. There is this one gentleman that has been coming to the bridge for a few years now. He has always been a huge help to us in setting up and clean up. He has informed us that he has gone back to collage to get his business degree. He has also been going to church faithfully at the Resting Place. We are so proud of him and know that the Lord has great plans for his future.
One of our couples who have been with us faithfully under the bridge for a couple of years came to us that they wanted to get married. So on April 15th we had our second wedding under the bridge.
We were so thankful to have The Anchor Church and Mt Zion Evangelism team from Nashville come down to help under the bridge. We also had Valley Grove Baptist travel all the way from Tuscumbia, AL. just to help serve those in need. Our friends had a special treat this last Tuesday night when Deanna Tomlinson came down to play her harp for them it was absolutely beautiful. We are truly blessed to have so many help carry the load of this ministry we could not do it with out all of your help and support.
