February Newsletter

We are sad to announce that we will be rescheduling our "Bridging the Gap Youth Conference." It was to be held March 17-19. With so many traveling with their families over Spring Break we thought more would be able to come during Summer Break. We will keep you posted on the web site for further information

As many of you know the Middle Tennessee area was hit hard by several sever thunderstorms in the month of February. Two of the weeks on Tuesday nights we were under Tornado warnings. We were all under the bridge worshiping the Lord when one storm came up blew the rain in side ways blowing over chairs. Our guest speaker Clifton Harris never missed a beat, he just kept on preaching. The next week we were under another tornado warning this time we had gotten word that people had been killed in this storm west of us. We made sure everyone had been fed and given groceries then dismissed so every one could take cover before the storm hit. That storm system was the worst in Middle Tennessee history many lost their lives that night. The Bridge Ministry was able to send a truck load of diapers, baby food, blankets, and other supplies to help those who were hit hard by the Tornadoes. Our prayers go to those who lost loved ones, and homes in those storms.

We want to thank Pastor Canent from New Song Community Church and Fresh Anointing for coming down to the bridge and ministering through song and the word. It was such a blessing to have them with us all the way from Andalusia, Alabama.

We want to thank everyone who came and volunteered under the bridge through the month of February. The weather was a challenge for all from a warm 70 degree temperature to below freezing temperatures, sometimes on the same night. We had every type of weather system this month from tornadoes, to snow. We could not have done it with out all of you. We are looking forward to the Spring and all the wonderful things the Lord has in store for The Bridge Ministry.
