We are all very excited that Spring has arrived the weather has been so much nicer the last few weeks. March was a very busy month for us at The Bridge Ministry. With schools being out for Spring break we have been blessed with lots of youth mission trips this past month.
At the beginning of the month we had a ladies group from North Ridge Church come to help serve under the bridge. They blessed the ministry with hygiene product to be handed out to our homeless friends. North Ridge is always a blessing to have with us.
We want to thank Pastor Jack Harper from Crossroads Church for bringing there youth to come and help. They filled our pantry with canned food items; this will help us tremendously with preparing meals.
Family Christian Fellowship in Van Buren, AR and Hope Ministries from Delaware sent their youth for their mission's trip they worked so hard in the warehouse cleaning, sorting clothes, and shoes they were a great help under the bridge helping set up and serving dinner.
We also had two other church groups come and help First Baptist from IL came and worked in the warehouse and brought us bottled water, food, and clothes. The other church was Long Ridge Baptist Church they came to the bridge to help serve. They blessed The Bridge with a generous love offering and with food and bottled water.
The last Tuesday of the month was a fabulous service the power of God was so strong many came to the altars. We had a homeless man that needed a pair of shoes because his where worn through and the pastor from Long Ridge gave him the shoes off his feet and traded them for his, now that is a servants heart.
